Replace BGA H3 allwinner

Hello everyone! I have a BPI M2 + where H3 allwinner was damaged, I would like to know the following:

What happens if the previous H3 exchange for a new H3 is done, will it need some firmware type for it to work?

Someone from the forum already had this experience of changing the H3 BGA for a new H3, could you please give me some information?

The board is a BPI M2 +

if you replace a new H3 chip by hand , if success ,it will working fine , just burn image to SD to test it.
