Notification about Banana PI BPI-M2 Stop production
Since Banana PI BPI-M2 come out, it get lost support from many developers, opensource community provide many technical support to BPI-M2, and also many customers do many interesting project on BPI-M2. Although Allwinner A31S chip stop production since 2016, but as we have enough A31S Chip in stock, so we continue produce BPI-M2 until May, 2017. But now we have to sorry to tell that our A31S Chip out of stock now, so we have to stop production of BPI-M2 after 18 months that A31S Chip stop production. From June, 2017, we will not produce BPI-M2 anymore, BPI-M2 is the first product that stop production in Banana PI.
For the customers who use BPI-M2 to do project, we will fully cooperate with customer to do the hardware upgrade. If customer need, please contact banana pi team, Banana PI team will fully cooperate with customer to do the upgrade work, and cooperate with customers to develop software, running on alternative banana PI.
We mainly in support LTS(long time support) to customers, we make sure that the product made by Banana PI must have replace solution , we support long time service and support.
