Banana Pi BPI-M3 Sample Giveaway Apply Here

I give my word that i wil post reviews of banna pi bp-m3 on youtube , facebook, twitter and in all the social networking sites i am in.when i will get my first banan pi bpi-m3 i will tell all my frined sto buy it. and share it’s awesome features.:) and i will will create my own projects and make banana pi bpi-m3 famous. my project will be to make a walk to charge project ,which will be loaded with many features. once it is in the market ,i will showcase your board name . thank you and plz selcet me.this is the project i am currently working on on multiple projects .if i get this board .IT will help me to continue my project and will also help me to showcase your board .since i’m popular

  1. I will do a benchmark and compare it with RPi 3B (which I just purchased), I will write the result in my blog (English) and also a technical forum (Arabic) and also send the links on Twitter.
  2. My blog is now running on a RPi 1B, and I also run ownCloud on RPi 2B, I am not happy with the performance and would love to test something faster.

Just when I decideret to, rollout my über sensing art platform called Pangaea.

Here is a small teaser, and by the end of next week, I will have website, git and the first beta out.

Pangaea or Pangea ( pronunciation: /pænˈdʒiːə/ )

Was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras. It assembled from earlier continental units approximately 300 million years ago. The name is derived from Ancient Greek: pan ( πᾶν, “all, entire, whole” ), and Gaia ( Γαῖα, “Mother Earth, land” )

Panthalassa ( Greek πᾶν “all” and θάλασσα “ocean” ) is the super ocean that surrounds Pangaea. Different resources can be found in the ocean, the sky, and even true the Danish king : Harald “Blåtand” Gormsson ( Old Norse: Haraldr blátǫnn Gormsson, Danish: Harald Blåtand Gormsen )

Just like Pangaea, this is a über platform and / or über framework, with everything in near proximity, or the possibility to access what’s around it.

PIngaea ( working title ) is minded on art- and interactive- installations.

Gaia

This is not the planet earth as we know, but some kind of fruit, that has 3,1415 in the end.

I will keep posting updates, and why this should run on a Banana Pi M3

Hello i am ADITYA NARAYAN from India and I got to know about this giveaway via Facebook and to be honest I have no experiences with the banana pi I have worked on rapberry pi but that also are just small projects so if win the banana pi I give my word that i will make something highly useful and will provide a full report of the project (which will probably be something related to lost lugage location tracking and other different variables datalogging device),with a detailed review of the banana pi.

I am very much interested in the latest BPI-M3. I have built many Robotics Platforms and have utilized the BPI-M1, and BPI-Pro,the M3 has eluded me and my hardware and my efforts. I have developed and promoted fair reviews and doc’s on YouTube and hackster.IO . The BPI products have all had early development and factory support issues. Hopefully you’ll send my a BPI-M3 and I’ll build a WiFi-Car around it. Actually I still have you’re BPI-Car still waiting… I have a Build in progress using the Guitar MOBO that I purchased. I have build all my projects around SBC;s that I have purchased…NO GIMME’s here so honest reviews will be expected

If you all look closely…count the BPI’s…Pi’s…Arduino’s…Photon,MKR1000…I didn’t leave anyone out, building a 17DOF around a lynxmoition ssc-32u

Use at work, aircraft repair plant for the company in Russia. We have 260 computers to 50% are very old they may not work. are risen budget mobile options. I worked as a systems administrator and I prioretet the choice and purchase of equipment. We want to test your device and show if your device will be reliable. We have a lot of different equipment and sensors, want to test with your device.

I plan to build a Beowulf cluster out of the BPI-M3 for many reasons … 1- Gb Ethernet, 2- huge L1 and L2, 3- memory

I already have a couple of Raspberry PI 2 and I want to see if the BPI-M3 fares better. I will want to compare the product and the support network for it.

Once built, I plan to go see my old buddies at University of Montreal, department of physics (I’m a physicist) to see what can be done with such a cluster and if it might interest a few researchers. Building it is simple … configuring it is another story … I want to build it so that it is ready to use out of the box, installing openmpi and many tools (R, Python, C, C++) and most libraries needed to build parallel programs out of the box.

The project is to develop a method for building and configuring Beowulf clusters out of BPI-M3

HI i’m Alexandros

I want to create my own server and host my website on Bananapi M3

Hi,

I want to port Centos7 Linux (Red Hat Enterprise 7 clone) to the BPI-M3. A port already exists for the original BPI-M1 and the M3 is a great idea because it’s a far more powerful. The website for the already ported Arm32 systems is here:

https://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup/AltArch/Arm32

Centos7 is a great OS and I am already using it on the original M1. Adding the M3 to this would be incredibly useful for the entire community. I am RHCE certified and I can privately share my credentials if needed.

Thanks & Regards, D.A.

Build your own arcade machine with the BPI-M3 - strongest single board arcade cabinet

  • Just recently built an Arcade Cabinet with Raspberry PI Zero published on my blog: http://itminutes.com/raspberry-pi-zero-arcade-cabinet/ Connected the classic iCade spin buttons into a modern USB PCB, attached a monitor display and the Linux + emulators can recognize the board as a fully equipped computer.
  • Plan is to build Banana PI-M3 into the cabinet and utilize the strong CPU capabilitites in emulaton use cases, such as MAME or Nintendo game emulation. Can the BPI-M3 became the strongest Arcade machine in emulator space?

Please inform me if you are interested in the project and I can integrate BPI M3 into the arcade cabinet and benchmark the capabilities - already designed and built a Raspberry PI Zero. I can re-use the same board in the mini Data Center BPI-M3 project that I posted above: http://itminutes.com/raspberry-mini-data-center-cloud/

I’m involved in several opensource projects about embebbed systems.

Biggest one is jderobot:

I was working with GK802 in onboard computing:

But now I’m working in a 4WD robot with onboard computing:

About video stream, I’m a streamlab developer:

In jderobot, we are looking for cheap and/or lightweight computing embedded systems. In streamlab we are looking for two type of embedded systems: one for image/video source (board+camera) and one for serving video stream to final users (nginx, webrtc, ect). At home I’m using a raspberry pi b+ as home media center (openelec) and a orange pi pc as cloud storage (cifs + ftp + owncloud).

Thanks for your help and initiatives

Hello , we are IEEE University of Piraeus Student Branch ( from Greece) , a non profit team of student volontiers that deal with technical issues and organize workshops and presentations. We want the banana pi for our ownCloud Server. (we can post a review to our facebook page , youtube channel and Instagram)

Ill write up an pxe Server Tutorial. and maybe build a new image for m1+m2 and then m3

projectbananapi will decision person selected and send out free sample .

Hi BPI,

I’ll use the M3 as part of a modular “Wireless IP Camera System”. Here’s a short description of my project:

Upon movement detection, an Arduino stamp equiped with a CMOS camera send pictures to the Banana PI wirelessly. The Banana PI store the pictures localy , upload them on a webserver, and send an SMS alert to a dedicated phone #.

I’ll be happy to post pictures and review the M3 here on the forums and on my Facebook page. …

Thank You! -Davis

Hi

I am the author of Photostovis, an open-source solution for storing personal photos and videos at home. Photostovis is for people who value their privacy and do not want to have their photos stored in the cloud, but at the same time would like to have a cloud-like experience: access from anywhere and any connected device, possibility of sharing with a closed group of people.

The webpage of the project is here: https://photostovis.org git repository: https://bitbucket.org/photostovis/photostovis Demos: https://photostovis.net/demo1 or https://photostovis.net/demoaws

The server part of this solution is written in C, so that it requires very little hardware resources. It works very well on single-board computers. Currently I have builds for Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 and Cubieboard/Cubietruck.

I would very much like to support Banana Pi M3 in this project. It makes for a very nice hardware platform because it has SATA and this allows significantly more space for photos and videos. As you know, Raspberry Pi is rather problematic with the USB-powered HDDs because of its power limitations.

Thank you! -Florin
