Android with real 1080 resolution?!

Hi there,

i got the latest Android Build, intalled it to emmc, set it up and changed resolution to 1080. Is it me or does it look upscaled from 720 to you too? You can see way to much pixels on the screen, apps don’t look good and the kodi app as well as the official youtube app only output in 720.

Why ist that and is there a way to fix this?

I downloaded an app to manipulate screen size and DPI. Works so far, but there is an issue with sharpness of screen elements (text, pictures etc.): seems to be good when system has load but in idle it looses sharpness. Any ideas? Power management?
